కేరళలోని ఓ సూపర్ మార్కెట్ యజమాని తన బ్యాంకు ఖాతాను చెక్‌ చేసుకోగా కళ్లు చెదిరే అంకెలు కనిపించాయి. ఏకంగా రూ.3,500 కోట్లకు పైగా బ్యాలెన్స్ చూపించింది. దీంతో ఆశ్చర్యపోవడం అతని వంతయింది. కొచ్చి సమీపంలోని త్రిపునితురలో దర్శన సూపర్ మార్కెట్ చైన్ యజమాని సుమేష్ కుమార్‌కు ఒక ప్రైవేట్ బ్యాంకులో ఖాతా ఉంది. ఈ అకౌంట్లో అక్టోబర్ 9న ఉదయం అసాధారణంగా అధిక బ్యాలెన్స్ ఉండటాన్ని సుమేష్ కుమార్‌ గమనించినట్లు మలయాళ మీడియా నివేదించింది.
ఇది తనకు ఆకస్మికంగా వరించిన అదృష్టం అని భావించకుండా సుమేష్ కుమార్‌ వెంటనే బ్యాంకు అధికారులను సంప్రదించాడు. తనకు కనిపించిన అసాధారణ బ్యాంక్‌ బ్యాలెన్స్ గురించి తెలియజేశాడు. తన సూపర్ మార్కెట్లో కార్డు స్వైపింగ్ లావాదేవీల ద్వారా రెండుసార్లు తన ఖాతాలో రూ.3.5 కోట్లు జమ అయినట్లు సందేశాలు వచ్చాయని వివరించాడు. మొత్తం రూ .7 కోట్లు చూపిస్తుందనుకుంటే అనూహ్యంగా అతని ఖాతా బ్యాలెన్స్ రూ .3,500 కోట్లకు పైగా చూపించింది.
కాగా సాంకేతిక లోపమే ఈ వ్యత్యాసానికి కారణమని బ్యాంకు పేర్కొంది. బ్యాంకు అధికారులు సాయంత్రానికల్లా సమస్యను పరిష్కరించడంతో ఖాతా బ్యాలెన్స్ తిరిగి సాధారణ స్థాయికి వచ్చింది. అలా చిన్న సాంకేతిక సమస్య కారణంగా సుమేష్ కుమార్‌ రూ.వేల కోట్లకు ఒక్కరోజు అధిపతి అయ్యాడన్న మాట!

A supermarket owner in Kerala checked his bank account and found eye-catching numbers. It showed a balance of more than Rs.3,500 crore. It was his turn to be surprised. Sumesh Kumar, owner of the Darshan supermarket chain in Tripunithura near Kochi, has an account in a private bank. Malayalam media reported that Sumesh Kumar noticed an unusually high balance in this account on the morning of October 9.
Sumesh Kumar immediately contacted the bank officials, not thinking it was a stroke of luck. He informed about the unusual bank balance he found. He explained that through card swiping transactions in his supermarket, he received messages that Rs.3.5 crores were deposited in his account twice. Instead of showing a total of Rs 7 crores, unexpectedly his account balance showed more than Rs 3,500 crores.
