ఈ వేడుకలోసమన్విత మాడ ఆలపించిన అమెరికా, భారత జాతీయ గీతాల అనంతరం, కళ్లు చెదిరే భారతీయ శాస్త్రీయ నృత్య ప్రదర్శనలతో వేదిక కళకళలాడింది. సెంటర్ ఫర్ కూచిపూడి డాన్స్-టెక్సాస్, నాట్యోం డాన్స్ అకాడమీ, గురు పరంపర స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ ఆర్ట్స్, నాట్యాంజలి కూచిపూడి డాన్స్ స్కూల్, రాగలీన డాన్స్ అకాడమీ, తాండవం-స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ కూచిపూడి, రాగమయూరి స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ డాన్స్ వంటి డల్లాస్-ఫోర్ట్ వర్త్ ప్రాంతంలోని నృత్య అకాడమీలు, సంప్రదాయం, థాకథనంలో పాతుకుపోయిన ఇతివృత్తాత్మక ప్రదర్శనలను అందించాయి.
ప్రతి పాఠశాల పౌరాణిక కథల నుంచి ఉత్సాహభరితమైన జానపద వ్యక్తీకరణల వరకు తమదైన ప్రత్యేకతను చాటుతూ, తమ సౌందర్యం, క్రమశిక్షణ, అంకితభావంతో ప్రేక్షకులను మంత్రముగ్ధులను చేసింది. నృత్య ప్రదర్శనకారులందరినీ వేదికపై పతకాలతో, వారి గురువులను పుష్పగుచ్ఛం, శాలువాతో సత్కరించారు. బాల రెడ్డి ఇందుర్తి అధ్యక్షుడిగా ఎనిమిదేళ్ల నాయకత్వంలో, శంకర నేత్రాలయ యూఎస్ఏ ఏడు నగరాల నుంచి ముప్పై నగరాలకు విస్తరించింది. అంతే కాక మొబైల్ కంటి శస్త్రచికిత్స యూనిట్ కార్యక్రమాన్ని రెండు ఆపరేటింగ్ యూనిట్ల నుంచి ఐదుకు పెంచింది, మరో మూడు నిర్మాణంలో ఉన్నాయి.

Sankara Nethralaya, Arving Arts Center in Arving, Texas USA hosted their 'Music & Dance for Vision 2026' programme. The event was attended by more than 300 people. The event prominently demonstrated the strong community support for the Mobile Eye Surgical Unit (MESU) in its mission to eradicate preventable blindness in rural India. The program started with a warm welcome by Chapter Vice President Chinasatyam Veernapu and Board of Trustees members Dr. Reddy Oorimindi.
In this ceremony, after the national anthems of America and India sung by Samanvita Mada, the stage was enlivened with eye-catching Indian classical dance performances. Dance academies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, such as Center for Kuchipudi Dance-Texas, Natyom Dance Academy, Guru Parampara School of Arts, Natyanjali Kuchipudi Dance School, Ragalina Dance Academy, Thandavam-School of Kuchipudi, Ragamayuri School of Dance, present thematic performances rooted in tradition and Thakathanam.
Each school has mesmerized the audience with their beauty, discipline and dedication, displaying their own uniqueness from mythological stories to spirited folk expressions. All the dance performers were felicitated on stage with medals and their teachers with garlands and shawls. Under Bala Reddy Indurthi's eight-year leadership as president, Sankara Nethralaya USA expanded from seven cities to thirty cities. Besides, the mobile eye surgery unit has increased the program from two operating units to five, with three more under construction.
Board of Trustees Dr Reddy Oorimindi, Adopt-a-Village Programme, Mobile Eye Surgical Unit (MESU), gave an overview of the latest statistics of the five MESU units. Grand donors Prakash Bedapudi, Tirumal Reddy Kumbham, Srini Veeravelli, Sunitha, Dr. Raju Kosuri, Arjun Madadi (in memory of his late wife Bhanu Madadi), new MESU Adopt-a-Village sponsors Dr. Krishnababu Chunduri, J.K. Reddy, FCA, Bhima Penta, Sudhakar, Prem Kalidindi etc. resulted in the necessary funds for about 2,000 cataract surgeries.
It has been a gift of life changing sight to the poor people suffering from visual impairment. In a moment full of appreciation and gratitude, the chief guest, Shankara Ratna awardee Prasada Reddy Katamreddy, Board of Trustees members Dr. Reddy Oorimindi, Dallas Chapter Vice President Chinasatyam Veernapu and all the committee members honored the community leaders and sponsors on the stage.
