తెలుగు లోగిళ్లలో మళ్లీ పెళ్లి సందడి మొదలైంది. గత నెలన్నర రోజులుగా మూఢం, అధిక జ్యేష్ఠ మాసంలో మంచి రోజులులేక వివాహాలు జరగలేదు. ఈ నెల 15 నుంచి నిజ జ్యేష్ఠ మాసం మొదలవగా... రాబోయే రోజుల్లో (18 నుంచి జులై 9 వరకు) పరిమితంగా శుభముహూర్తాలున్నాయి. తిరిగి జులై 15 నుంచి ఆషాఢమాసం, గురుమూఢం ప్రారంభమై ఆగస్టు 15 వరకూ పెళ్లి ముహూర్తాలు లేవు. ఆ తరవాత శ్రావణ మాసంలోనే పెళ్లిళ్లకు అవకాశాలుండటంతో ప్రస్తుత సీజన్లో కల్యాణాలు కుదిరిన కుటుంబాల్లో హడావుడి మొదలైంది. మరోవైపు పరిమిత ముహూర్తాల కారణంగా పురోహితులు, ఫంక్షన్హాళ్లు, క్యాటరింగ్ తదితరాలకు డిమాండ్ పెరగడంతో ఆయా కుటుంబాలు ఆందోళన చెందుతున్నాయి.
అమెరికా-ఇరాన్ యుద్ధం కారణంగా పెట్రోలు, డీజిల్ సహా నిత్యావసర ధరలు పెరగడం వల్ల పెళ్లి వ్యయం కూడా ఆకాశాన్నంటుతోంది. ‘వాణిజ్య గ్యాస్ సిలిండర్ల ధరలు భారీగా పెరిగాయన్న కారణంతో క్యాటరింగ్ నిర్వాహకులు ధరలు పెంచేశారు. వాహనాల కిరాయిలూ పెరిగాయి. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో సాధారణంగా వేసవిలో ఫంక్షన్హాళ్లకు డిమాండు అధికంగా ఉంటుంది. ఈసారి అధిక జ్యేష్ఠం కారణంగా వాటికి గిరాకీ లేదు. ఇప్పుడు ముహూర్తాలు ప్రారంభమైనందున నిర్వాహకులు వాటి ధరలనూ పెంచుతున్నారు’ అని వధూవరుల తండ్రులు శివరామకృష్ణయ్య, నాగేశ్వరరావు తెలిపారు.
అమ్మో బంగారం!
ఏడాది క్రితంతో పోలిస్తే బంగారం ధర బాగా పెరిగింది. పేద, దిగువ మధ్య తరగతి వారైనా కుమార్తెకు పెళ్లిచేసే సమయంలో మంగళసూత్రాలు, బంగారుగొలుసు, కమ్మలు, ముక్కుపుడక, గాజులు వంటి అవసరాలకు కనీసం 5-6 తులాలు కొనడం ఆనవాయితీ. ప్రస్తుతం ఆ మేరకు కొనుగోలు చేయాలన్నా రూ.7-8 లక్షలు ఖర్చవుతోంది. ఇక కల్యాణ మండపాలు, అలంకరణ, భోజనాలు, రాకపోకలకు తక్కువలో తక్కువ మరో రూ.5-10 లక్షల వరకూ వెచ్చించక తప్పని పరిస్థితి. ‘వంటకాల రకాలను బట్టి కనీసం ప్లేటుకు రూ.500 తక్కువ కాకుండా వెచ్చించాల్సి వస్తోంది. పాతిక రకాల వంటకాలు లేకుండా భోజనం పెట్టడం నామోషీగా భావిస్తున్నందున భోజనాల వ్యయం చాలా ఎక్కువగా ఉంటోందని ఫంక్షన్ హాలు యజమాని హరి ‘ఈనాడు’కు చెప్పారు. అమెరికా-ఇరాన్ యుద్ధం ముందు నాటితో పోలిస్తే ఒక పెళ్లికి అదనంగా కనీసం రూ.5 లక్షల వరకూ ఖర్చు పెరిగిందని ఆయన తెలిపారు. పరిమిత ముహూర్తాల నేపథ్యంలో పురోహితుల దగ్గర్నుంచి..క్యాటరింగ్, డెకరేషన్, అద్దె వాహనాల వరకు అందరూ అధిక మొత్తం డిమాండ్ చేయడం కూడా భారం పెంచుతోందని ఆయన అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు.
