భారత్-యూఎస్ మధ్య ప్రతిపాదిత మధ్యంతర వాణిజ్య ఒప్పందంపై దేశంలోని కొన్ని రైతు సంఘాలు తీవ్ర అభ్యంతరం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నాయి. సంయుక్త కిసాన్ మోర్చా(ఎస్కేఎం), దాని రాజకీయేతర విభాగం, ఆల్ ఇండియా కిసాన్ సభ (ఏఐకేఎస్) సహా పలు సంఘాలు ఈ ఒప్పందాన్ని భారత వ్యవసాయ రంగాన్ని అమెరికన్ బహుళజాతి సంస్థలకు అప్పగించే చర్యగా అభివర్ణించాయి. దీనికి నిరసనగా వచ్చే వారం దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఆందోళనలు చేపట్టనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించాయి.

- ఇటీవల విడుదల చేసిన సంయుక్త ప్రకటనలో రైతు నేతలు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ విధానాన్ని తీవ్రంగా విమర్శించారు. ఈ ఒప్పందంలోని నిబంధనలు భారతీయ రైతులకు గొడ్డలిపెట్టుగా మారతాయని ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ప్రకటనలోని అంశాలు కింది విధంగా ఉన్నాయి.

ఫిబ్రవరి 12న నిరసన
రైతు సంఘాల పిలుపు మేరకు ఫిబ్రవరి 12న దేశవ్యాప్తంగా గ్రామాల్లో నిరసన కార్యక్రమాలు జరగనున్నాయని ప్రకటనలో తెలిపారు. అదే రోజు కార్మిక సంఘాలు పిలుపునిచ్చిన సాధారణ సమ్మెకు ఎస్కేఎం పూర్తి మద్దతు ప్రకటిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.
వ్యవసాయంపై ప్రభావం
ఏఐకేఎస్ నేత కృష్ణ ప్రసాద్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. ‘అమెరికా నుంచి సోయాబీన్ నూనె, ఎర్ర జొన్న, పశువుల దాణా వంటివి భారత్లోకి వెల్లువలా వస్తాయి. దీనివల్ల స్థానిక మార్కెట్ దెబ్బతింటుంది. ఇప్పటికే అప్పుల ఊబిలో ఉన్న రైతులు ఈ ఒప్పందం వల్ల మరింత సంక్షోభంలోకి వెళ్తారు’ అని ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
ప్రభుత్వ వాదన
మరోవైపు వాణిజ్య మంత్రి పీయూష్ గోయల్ ఈ ఆరోపణలను తోసిపుచ్చారు. పాల ఉత్పత్తులు, పౌల్ట్రీ, మాంసం, ధాన్యాలు, పండ్లు (నారింజ, స్ట్రాబెర్రీ వంటివి) వంటి సున్నితమైన రంగాల్లో భారత్ ఎలాంటి రాయితీలు ఇవ్వలేదని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు. రైతుల ప్రయోజనాలే పరమావధిగా చర్చలు సాగుతున్నాయని, ఎక్కడా లొంగిపోయే ప్రసక్తే లేదని ఆయన ట్వీట్ చేశారు.
