Anantapuram Tower Clock:'Chandrababu's government in the state has not granted new pensions even though it has been two years. "Eligible widows, disabled, single women and old people are roaming around the offices for pension," said the members of the Zilla Parishad in the plenary session of the government. When the officials did not respond to this, MP BK Parthasarathy replied that they would give new pensions after investigating the pensions and removing the bogus ones. The rest of the members demanded to know when the new ones will be given as well as the dismissals. The members got into an argument as the MP gave inconsistent answers.
Doesn't public health matter?
Many members protested that the state government does not care about public health. MLC Y. Shivarami Reddy said why the Arogyasree scheme is not being implemented. MP BK Parthasarathy said that Arogyashri is being implemented, but the opposite is happening at the field level. Sivarami Reddy said that bills are collected from the poor in private hospitals. They demanded that action should be taken against those hospitals which are acting against the rules. Later, many members brought the issue of 108 ambulances and salaries to the Panchayat workers to the attention of the House.

MP's hesitancy on RDT renewal
Many members mentioned in the meeting that the poor are not getting service programs due to FCRA not renewing the RDT. When asked when the FCRA renewal will be done for the RDT, MP BK Parthasarathy responded and said that if the RDT was weakened in the previous government, they would have done the renewal now. The members protested that if the RDT has not received the renewal order till now, how can they give a wrong answer. The hesitant MP gave an incoherent answer saying that he will renew soon. Ramachandra Reddy, a member of Nallamada ZPTC, said that the eradication of poverty has been successfully undertaken in Kerala and the policies followed there should be implemented in AP as well. When MP BK prepared for this and tried to cast aspersions on the previous government, the members reacted strongly. How many debts were incurred in the previous government?
