GHMC key announcement on payment of property tax

Hyderabad: The government has announced a special concession for delinquent property tax payers under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao has issued an order to implement the one time scheme introduced by declaring interest concession on property tax payment for the financial year 2025-26. In the order, it has been mentioned that 90 percent discount on interest will be given if all outstanding dues under OTS are paid at once in respect of all government and private properties under the jurisdiction of GHMC. He directed the GHMC Commissioner to implement the orders to this extent.
