Uttam Kumar Reddy: KCR's ten-year rule is unfair to the state

Today, Hyderabad: within ten years of KCR rule. Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy has expressed his anger that the state has been unfairly treated in terms of river water rights, water usage and construction of projects. He said that Rs 1.81 lakh crore was spent on projects and not a single acre was irrigated. He said that the people of the state and their children have been made hostage by borrowing Rs.88 thousand crores for the projects, and their government has to pay Rs.16 thousand crores in interest and installments every year for the debts they have incurred. Uttam responded to KCR's comments in the press conference. He spoke at a press conference held at the Secretariat in Hyderabad on Sunday. It is a lie to say that we are the reason for sending back the DPR. DPR was sent back on April 12, 2023 when KCR was in power.

KCR said that he has love for common Rangareddy district. KCR said that if the Congress takes up the Pranahita-Chevella project to bring water to this district at a cost of Rs.38 thousand crores in the joint AP, KCR canceled the project which had already spent Rs.10 thousand crores.
