మహారాష్ట్ర స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికలలో బీజేపీ పార్టీ సంచలన విజయం సాధించింది. 288 పంచాయతీ పరిషత్ స్థానాలకు గానూ 120 సీట్లు సాధించి సింగిల్ లార్జెస్ట్ పార్టీగా నిలిచింది. ప్రతిపక్ష మహావికాస్ అఘాడీ కూటమి ఈ ఎన్నికలలో పెద్దగా ప్రభావితం చూపలేకపోయింది. ఈ విజయంపై ఈ రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి దేవేంద్ర ఫడ్నవీస్ ఆనందం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
ప్రస్తుతం దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కాషాయ పార్టీ జోరు నడుస్తో్ంది. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఏ ఎన్నిక జరిగినా బీజేపీ అధిపత్యం స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తోంది. మెున్నటికి మెున్న కేరళ కమ్యూనిస్టుల కోటైన తిరువనంతపురం మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ స్థానాన్ని కైవసం చేసుకోగా, తాజాగా మహారాష్ట్ర మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికలలోనూ ఆ పార్టీ మెజారిటీ స్థానాలు గెలుచుకొని సింగిల్ లార్జెస్ట్ పార్టీగా నిలిచింది. ఈ విజయంపై ఆ రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి దేవేంద్ర ఫడ్నవీస్ స్పందించారు.
ఫడ్నవీస్ మాట్లాడుతూ "ఎన్నికల ప్రచారంలో నేను ఏ పార్టీని, నాయకుడిని విమర్శించలేదు. నా ప్రణాళికలను వివరించాను. ప్రజలు దానిని అంగీకరించారు. అని ఫడ్నవీస్ అన్నారు. ఈ విజయం పట్ల ఆ రాష్ట్ర ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఏక్నాథ్ శిండే స్పందించారు. మహాయుతి కూటమి లోక్సభ, అసెంబ్లీ, మున్సిపల్ కార్పోరేషన్ ఎన్నికల్లో విజయం సాధించిందని దానికి మద్ధతుగా నిలిచిన ప్రజలకు ధన్యవాదాలని తెలిపారు.
మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల్లో బిీజేపీ 120 సీట్లు సాధించగా, శిండే శివసేన 57 స్థానాలు, అజిత్ ఎన్సీపీ 37 సీట్లు గెలిచుకుంది. ప్రతిపక్ష మహా వికాస్ అఘాడీ కూటమి కేవలం 51 స్థానాలతోనే సరిపెట్టుకుంది. ఇందులో కాంగ్రెస్ 31, ఉద్దవ్ శివసేన 10, శరద్ పవార్ ఎన్సీపీ 10 సీట్లు గెలిచాయి. మహారాష్ట్రలో 288 స్థానాలకు ఎన్నికలు జరిగాయి. వీటిలో 246 మున్సిపల్ కౌన్సిళ్లు, 46 గ్రామ పంచాయితీలు ఉన్నాయి.
మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ సమరంలో ప్రభావం చూపే అవకాశం ఉంది. ముంబైతో పాటు మరో 29 మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ స్థానాలకు వచ్చే నెల ఎన్నికలు జరగనున్నాయి.

The BJP won a sensational victory in the Maharashtra local body elections. Out of 288 Panchayat Parishad seats, it won 120 seats and became the single largest party. The opposition Mahavikas Aghadi alliance could not make much impact in these elections. The Chief Minister of this state, Devendra Fadnavis, expressed happiness over this victory. In any election across the country, the supremacy of the BJP is clear. Kerala Communists won the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation seat, while the party won the majority of seats in the recent Maharashtra municipal elections and became the single largest party. Fadnavis said, "During the election campaign, I did not criticize any party or leader. I explained my plans. People accepted it," said Fadnavis. The Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Eknath Shinde, responded to the victory.
BJP won 120 seats, Ajith NCP won 37 seats, Congress won 31 seats, Sharad Pawar NCP won 10 seats. Out of these there are 246 Municipal Councils and 46 Gram Panchayats.Municipal Corporation is likely to make an impact in the struggle. Along with Mumbai, elections for 29 other municipal corporation seats will be held next month.
