సాక్షి హెదరాబాద్: 2026 జనవరిలో జరిగే మేడారం సమ్మక్క-సారలమ్మ మహాజాతర పోస్టర్ను సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆదివారం జూబ్లీహిల్స్ లోని తన నివాసంలో ఆవిష్కరించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రులు సీతక్క, కొండాసురేఖ, పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి, అడ్లూరి లక్ష్మణ్ కుమార్ తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ గిరిజన మహాజాతరను అత్యంత ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మకంగా నిర్వహించేలా ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తోంది.
తెలంగాణ కుంభమేళాగా పిలిచే సమ్మక్క-సారలమ్మ మహాజాతరకు 2026 జనవరి 28న ప్రారంభంకానుంది. 28 బుధవారం నాడు సారలమ్మ గద్దెలపైకి చేరుకుంటుంది. 29 గురువారం నాడు సమ్మక్క తల్లి గద్దెలపైకి వస్తుంది. జనవరి 30 శుక్రవారం భక్తులు మెుక్కులు సమర్పించుకుంటారు. అనంతరం జనవరి 31వ తేదీన దేవతలు తిరిగి వనప్రవేశం చేస్తారు.
సమ్మక్క-సారక్క జాతరను అత్యంత వైభవంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం ఇది వరకే రూ.150 కోట్ల నిధులు ప్రభుత్వం మంజూరు చేసింది. ఈ నిధులతో జాతర జరిగే ప్రాంతంలో శాశ్వత నిర్మాణాలు, రహదారులు, తాగునీరు, విద్యుత్ తదితర మౌళిక సదుపాయాల ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నారు. ఆసియాలోని అత్యంత పెద్దదైన ఈ జాతరకు దేశవ్యాప్తంగా భక్తులు తరలివస్తారు.

Sakshi Hyderabad: Medaram to be held in January 2026 CM Revanth Reddy unveiled the Sammakka-Saralamma Mahajatara poster at his residence in Jubilee Hills on Sunday. Ministers Seethakka, Kondasurekha, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Adluri Laxman Kumar and others participated in this program. The government is making arrangements to organize this tribal mahajatara in the most prestigious way.
The Sammakka-Saralamma mahajatara, also known as the Telangana Kumbh Mela, will begin on January 28, 2026. Saralamma will reach the paddy field on 28th Wednesday. On 29th Thursday, Sammakka Mother comes to the fields. On Friday, January 30, devotees offer prayers. Then on January 31, the deities will return to Vanapresva.
The government has already sanctioned funds of Rs.150 crores to organize the Sammakka-Sarakka fair in a grand manner. With these funds, permanent structures, roads, drinking water, electricity and other basic facilities will be established in the area where the fair will be held. Devotees from all over the country flock to this fair which is the largest in Asia.
