Internet Desk: Indian cultural traditions, governance practices, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar spoke about politics at a book fair in Pune. Talking about the duties of diplomats, he said that in his view Lord Krishna and Hanuman were the greatest diplomats. He said that he was tired of repeatedly reading comments written by many foreign writers in books that India does not know strategic politics and governance. All of us have grown up following the culture, traditions and customs. Since foreigners do not know about them, he said that he wants to tell the world about the politics followed by India for many years. At that time Lord Hanuman performed his duties as a diplomat very well. If he was sent to Lanka on a mission to bring information about Sita, he went there and did ten tasks. He filled Sita with courage and Ravana with fear. Similarly, in Mahabharata, Lord Krishna also tried for reconciliation between Kauravas and Pandavas. He stood on the side of righteousness in war. Where else can we find great diplomats? Taking them as an example, I am also moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi," said Jaishankar.
