Rayadurgam, December 18 (Andhra Jyoti): Government Whip Kalava Srinivasulu said that the waste dumping yard in Shantinagar in the town will be shifted to another place. A mustabu program was organized by the students as part of the Samvanandhra Swarnandhra program on Saturday in the premises of Dr. Radhakrishna Municipal Primary and High School in the town. The MLA said that 78 thousand metric tons of garbage accumulated at the Shantinagar dump yard in the town, but seven thousand metric tons were cleaned after the formation of the government. He said that the search for a new contractor is going on to clean up the remaining garbage. He directed the municipal officials to take necessary steps to clean it by the coming Ugadi. The residents are said to be suffering from this garbage as residential houses have come up in the surrounding areas of Shantinagar. 10 acres have been identified at Udegolam for garbage dump. YCP workers join TDP
Gummaghatta (Andhra Jyoti): Many YCP workers and leaders from Marampalli village joined Telugu Desam Party on Saturday.
