భారత పౌర విమానయాన చరిత్రలో 2025వ సంవత్సరం ఒక మరుపురాని అధ్యాయంగా మిగిలిపోనుంది. ఈ ఏడాది ఒకవైపు కుంభమేళా వంటి పండుగలతో ఆకాశమంత సంబరాన్ని చూసింది.. మరోవైపు ఘోర విమాన ప్రమాదాలు, సర్వీసుల రద్దుతో పాతాళమంత విషాదాన్ని మిగిల్చింది. అభివృద్ధి బాటలో పయనిస్తున్న దేశీయ ఏవియేషన్ రంగానికి ఈ ఏడాది ఎదురైన సవాళ్లు, భవిష్యత్తు పరిణామాలు చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారాయి.
కుంభమేళా మెరుపులు.. అంతర్జాతీయ గౌరవం
సంవత్సరం ప్రారంభంలో దేశీయ విమానయాన రంగం పరిస్థితి ఎంతో ఆశాజనకంగా ఉంది. జనవరి 13న ప్రయాగ్రాజ్లో ప్రారంభమైన కుంభమేళా విమానయాన రంగానికి ఊపునిచ్చింది. 45 రోజుల పాటు సాగిన ఈ వేడుక కోసం విమాన సంస్థలు అదనపు విమానాలను నడిపాయి. దీనివల్ల జనవరి-మార్చి త్రైమాసికంలో దేశీయ ట్రాఫిక్ 10.35 శాతం వృద్ధి సాధించింది.
మరోవైపు, 42 ఏళ్ల విరామం తర్వాత భారతదేశం ఇంటర్నేషనల్ ఎయిర్ ట్రాన్స్పోర్ట్ అసోసియేషన్ (IATA) 81వ వార్షిక సర్వసభ్య సమావేశానికి ఆతిథ్యం ఇవ్వడం గర్వకారణంగా నిలిచింది. ప్రపంచంలోనే అత్యంత వేగంగా వృద్ధి చెందుతున్న మార్కెట్గా భారత్ తన స్థానాన్ని బలోపేతం చేసుకుంది.
ఎయిరిండియా విషాదం..
జూన్ 12న జరిగిన ఎయిర్ ఇండియా బోయింగ్ 787 (AI171) ప్రమాదం దేశాన్ని దిగ్భ్రాంతికి గురిచేసింది. అహ్మదాబాద్ నుంచి లండన్ బయలుదేరిన ఈ విమానం టేకాఫ్ అయిన కొద్దిసేపటికే కూలిపోయింది. 242 మంది ప్రయాణికుల్లో కేవలం ఒక్కరు మాత్రమే ప్రాణాలతో బయటపడటం అత్యంత విషాదకరం.
