Asifabad, December 19 (Andhra Jyoti): Governments have encouraged unanimous elections to establish peace and harmony in rural areas. This policy was implemented with the aim of diverting the election expenses for development and increasing the comfort of the people. But the special funds allocated to the unanimous panchayats are not being received. The previous government had announced Rs 10 lakh as Nazarana for unanimous panchayats. But even after the tenure of Sarpanchs, Nazarana was not received. This time many people did not favor unanimity. In three phases in the district..

The panchayat elections in the district have ended. Elections were held in three phases. But only 10 gram panchayats in Isa Ri district were unanimous. In 2019, 49 panchayats were unanimous. 10 lakh announced by the previous government has not been received. As there was no consensus, the confidence of the villagers was weakened. .39 panchayat seats have decreased compared to 2019. Out of total 335 gram panchayats in the district, in the first round of 113 panchayat elections held, seven panchayats namely Daba, Lendiguda, Naveguda in Wankidi Mandal, Kanchanpally, Mamidipalli in Lingapur Mandal, Danora and Babejhari in Kerameri Mandal were unanimous. In the second phase of 113 panchayat elections, Bhupalapatnam panchayat in Sirpur-T mandal was unanimous. Among the 106 panchayats held in the third phase, Regulaguda and Chintaguda panchayats of Kagajnagar mandal were unanimous and ten panchayats were unanimous in all three phases.

There were 335 gram panchayats in the district in 2019 and 286 gram panchayats were elected in 49 panchayats in three phases. They were unanimous. In Kautala Mandal, Talodi, Kanki, Shirsha and Navegam Gram Panchayats were unanimous. Similarly, Ambagattu, Susmeer, Katepalli, Talai, Sulugupalli, Andugulaguda, Kukuda, Kondapalli, Morliguda in Penchikalapet mandal, Ainam, Digida, Rampur in Dahegam mandal, Aadepalli in Chinthalamanepally mandal, Bhinjiguda, Govena in Tiryani mandal, Markaguda, Gopera (Naguguda), Morriguda, Gundala, Mulkalamanda, Takkallapalli in Rebbena mandal, Tsulada in Kagaznagar mandal, Bhattupalli, Eesugam, Jagannathpur, Lineguda, Regulaguda, Karanjiwada in Kerameri mandal, Ringanghat, Daba, Naveguda, Pataguda in Wankidi mandal, Pipergondi, Savvati, Bandeyer, Seetagondi in Sirpur (U) mandal, Gumnoor (B) in Lingapoor mandal, Chinnadhampur, Jainur mandal, Ramnayakthanda, Dubbaguda, Marlavai, Para, Powerguda, Rashimetta, Oosegam panchayats were unanimously eligible for promotion. But the incentive funds were not sanctioned by the previous government. As a result, many people did not favor unanimity in any of the panchayats held this time
