New Delhi:The National Herald Case has taken another turn. In this case, the trial court recently ordered to dismiss the money laundering complaints against Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and others. However, the Enforcement Directorate challenged the trial court's order in the High Court on Friday. The criminal revision petition is likely to come up for listing next week.

A Delhi court on Tuesday refused to entertain the chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate in the National Herald case. Passed orders rejecting the charge sheet. Special Judge Vishal Gagne of the Delhi Court erred by saying that the chargesheet could not be considered based on the complaint filed by private vakti Subramaniam Swamy and not on the basis of the FIR registered in the case. According to the law, it is not possible to investigate it. The Special Judge reminded that the Financial Offenses Wing of the Delhi Police has already registered an FIR. In that case, it would be premature to judge based on the ED charge sheet. However, the court ordered that the ED can continue the investigation in this case.

The Congress expressed happiness over the verdict of the Rouse Avenue court. The court said that the ED actions against Sonia and Rahul in this case were completely illegal and malicious. However, the BJP leaders felt that the charges were not taken into consideration, so it was not like a clean chit was given to Sonia and Rahul. The ED has also said that it will appeal the verdict and file a charge sheet again based on the FIR registered by the Delhi Police.
