Hyderabad, December 19:The President of India, Draupadi Murmu, has advised the Public Service Commissions to focus on transparency in appointments and increasing public trust. President Draupadi Murmu inaugurated the National Conference of Public Service Commission Chairmen at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on Friday. Later, she said that she made it clear to the commission chairmen that transparency should be given priority in appointments. He opined that the challenges faced in recruitment need to be solved quickly.
The role of Public Service Commissions is crucial in achieving the goal of 2047 Vikasita Bharat. He also clarified that transparency and ethics are necessary in appointments. Skills can be taught but lack of integrity cannot be compensated. President Draupadi Murmu suggested to the commission chairmen that public service commissions should make advance plans to face the challenges of technology.
This conference will be held for two days. The chairmen of Public Service Commission from different states of the country attended this conference. Challenges faced by public service commissions, methods to be followed in conducting examinations and mutual cooperation will be discussed in this conference.
President Murmu who attended the conference was warmly welcomed at Ramoji Film City. She was accompanied by many ministers and high officials from Telangana. Governor Jishnudev Verma, CM Revanth Reddy, UPSC Chairman Ajay Kumar, UPSC Secretary Shashi Ranjan Kumar and others were present in this program. This conference will end on Saturday (20-12-2025). Indian Vice President CP Radhakrishnan will attend this conference.
