Nizamabad, December 19:A riot of stolen notes broke out in Warni mandal of Nizamabad district. The cash brought by the farmer to pay the crop loan in the local Canara Bank was identified by the authorities as stolen notes. The farmer took Rs. 2,08,500 in cash was found to be fake by the bank officials. Total Rs. 500 notes. Naredla Chinna Sailu of Jalalpur village had previously taken a loan from Canara Bank. He went to Canara Banks on Thursday afternoon to pay this money. He paid that cash at the counter. Later, while the bank staff was counting the cash, they were found to be fake notes. This matter was informed to the higher officials of the bank.
The bank officials and staff protested the small stones of Rythu Naredla as to where this money was brought from. The farmer ran away from there. The bank staff complained to the police about this. Police are hunting for the farmer. But recently in Varni mandal this farmer sold his grain to the millers through a broker.
He is informed that they paid him cash. This matter came to light when Chinna Sailu went to deposit all the money given by her sister in the bank. Did he give this cash alone? Or did he bring it from different places? It remains to be seen. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
