It is known that celebrities are getting crores of remuneration for betting apps. ED will crack down on promoters for betting apps recently. Enforcement Director (ED) officials have stepped up their aggression in the online betting and Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) case. In a PML case, properties of prominent people were attached. The ED has already attached the assets of actors Sonusood and Nehasharma, recently the assets of former cricketers Yuvraj Singh, Robin Oothappa, former TMC MP Mimi Chakraborty and actress Urvashi Rautela's mother have also been attached.
