Rs 2.70 lakhs for Pambanda temple

Kulkacharla:Tenkayas were sold at Pambanda Ramalingeshwar Swamy Temple in Bandavelkicharla Mandal on Tuesday during Shra Vanamasam. An auction was held. Sivaprasad of Bandavelkichar got the right to bid for Rs.2.70 lakh. Temple Chairman Maipal Reddy and EO Balanarsaiah spoke on this occasion. He said that the temple will be developed with everyone's cooperation. Sarpanch Srinivas, Deputy Sarpanch Govardhan Reddy, Pujari Pandu Sharma and others participated in the program.

Students' awareness of soil tests

Bonraspet:Scientists of Rajendranagar Agricultural University said that they should be aware of the agricultural sector from the student stage. As part of the School Soil Health Programme, an awareness program on soil testing was conducted for the students at Dudyala Mandal Chilmalmailaram Mandal Parishad High School on Tuesday. Officers of Soil Testing Department Vijayaratna, Callerens and others imparted awareness on agriculture, soil health, soil testing and use of fertilizers. Fertilizers should be used as directed by the agricultural officers. Students aspire to become agronomists. Mandal Agriculture Officer Tulsi, Sarpanch Balayya, HM Yadaiah, AEO Babu, teachers Govardhan, Vijayudu, Anil, Hanumantulu participated in the program. Former MLA of Vikarabad Dr. Metuku Anand demanded. On Tuesday, he protested with the students in the town against the GO. Later, they held a dharna at the Collectorate and handed over a petition to the officials. Speaking on this occasion, he said that he should not interfere with the lives of students. They want to withdraw the GO immediately keeping in mind the future of the students. BRS leaders, activists and polytechnic students participated in the program.
