శ్రీకాకుళం కల్చరల్:యోగాతో మానసిక ప్రశాంతత లభిస్తుందని జిల్లా పరిషత్ సీఈవో వెంకటరామన్ తెలిపారు. బుధవారం జిల్లా పరిషత్ అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది కార్గిల్ పార్కులో ఆయుష్ శాఖ సమన్వయంతో యోగా కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రస్తుత సమాజంలో మనం ఎదుర్కొంటున్న మానసిక ఒత్తిళ్లు, ఆందోళన, వివిధ రకాల అనారోగ్య సమస్యలకు యోగా ఒక అద్భుతమైన దివ్య ఔషధంగా ఉపయోగపడుతుందని తెలిపారు. జిల్లా ఆయుష్ అధికారి డాక్టర్ ఉత్తమ్ రాజ్ రాణా మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ తమ దైనందిన జీవితంలో యోగాసనాలను భాగం చేసుకోవడం ద్వారా సంపూర్ణ ఆరోగ్యాన్ని సాధించవచ్చని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. కార్యక్రమంలో యోగా గురువు పాండ్రంకి మురళీకృష్ణ, కొంక్యాన మురళి, జిల్లా పరిషత్ అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది, ఆయుష్ శాఖ అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది, ప్రజలు పాల్గొన్నారు.
మత్స్యకారుల తెప్పబోల్తా
వజ్రపుకొత్తూరు:మండలంలోని దేవునల్తాడ గ్రామానికి చెందిన మత్య్సకారులు బుధవారం వేకువజామున చేపల వేటకు వెళ్తుండగా రాకాసి అల తాకిడికి తెప్పబోల్తా పడింది. ఈ ఘటనలో అదృష్టవశాత్తు మత్య్సకారులు చిన్న, చిన్న గాయాలతో ప్రమాదం నుంచి బయటపడ్డారు. స్థానికులు తెలిపిన వివరాల మేరకు.. బాధిత మత్య్సకారుడు గరక గారయ్యకు చెందిన తెప్పలో ఆయనతో పాటు అదే గ్రామానికి చెందిన మత్య్సకారులు హేమారావు, ఎర్రన్న, జోగారావు, అప్పన్నలు వేకువజామున చేపలవేటకు బయల్దేరారు. అయితే ఈ మత్య్సకారులు కొంతదూరం వెళ్లాక అలల తాకిడికి తెప్ప బోల్తా పడింది. మత్య్సకారులు చాకచక్యంగా ఈదుకుంటూ స్వల్ప గాయాలతో ఒడ్డుకు చేరుకున్నారు. విషయం తెలుసుకున్న గ్రామస్తులు తీరానికి చేరుకున్నారు. స్థానిక మాజీ సర్పంచ్ సీదిరి చిరంజీవికి చెందిన ఇంజిన్ బోటు సాయంతో సముద్రంలో బోల్తాపడిన తెప్పను తిరిగి ఒడ్డుకు చేర్చారు.
వివాహిత ఆత్మహత్య
హిరమండలం:ఎల్.ఎన్.పేట మండలం మోదుగువలస నిర్వాసిత కాలనీ(చిన్న కొల్లివలస) గ్రామానికి చెందిన వివాహిత గొబ్బక లావణ్య (19) చీమల మందు తాగి ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్నట్లు సరుబుజ్జిలి ఎస్ఐ బి.హైమవతి తెలిపారు. పోలీసులు తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం.. చిన్నకొల్లివలసలో ఉంటున్న లావణ్య ఇంటి వద్ద ఈనెల 15వ తేదీన చీమల మందు తాగేసింది. గమనించిన కుటుంబ సభ్యులు వెంటనే ఆటోలో శ్రీకాకుళం రిమ్స్కు తరలించారు. రిమ్స్లో చికిత్స పొందుతూ బుధవారం మృతి చెందింది. మృతురాలికి తండ్రి ప్రసాదరావు, తల్లి పావని ఉన్నారు. లావణ్యకు మూడు నెలల క్రితం వివాహం అయ్యింది. తండ్రి ఫిర్యాదు మేరకు కేసు నమోదు చేసి, దర్యాప్తు చేస్తున్నామని ఎస్ఐ తెలిపారు.
దాడి చేశారని ఫిర్యాదు
శ్రీకాకుళం రూరల్: మండల పరిధిలోని సింగుపురం పంచాయతీ మామిడివలస గ్రామానికి చెందిన యడ్ల రమణ అనే వ్యక్తిపై అదే గ్రామానికి చెందిన ఎల్లయ్య, అప్పన్న ప్రసాద్ అనే వ్యక్తులు దాడి చేశారని, బాధితుడు రూరల్ ఎస్ఐ రాముకు బుధవారం ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. గ్రామంలోని భూమి కొలతల్లో ఇరువర్గాలకు అరసెంటు విషయంలో తేడా రావడంతో ఒకరుపై ఒకరు దాడి చేసుకున్నారని ఆ ఫిర్యాదులో పేర్కొన్నారు.
