Prestigious awards ceremony in the film industry in Kerala It started with a bang.  The 70th Filmfare Awards ceremony was held in Kochi on Saturday. In these ceremonies, Allu Arjun (Pushpa-2) received the award for the year 2024 as the best actor. Teja Sajja (Hanuman) received the Best Actor Critics Award. Niveda Thomas (35-not a short story) won the best actress award for the same year. Pushpa-2 was the best film of 2024. Sukumar was awarded the Filmfare Award for the best director. The ceremony was organized under the auspices of Kerala Tourism.

The ceremony was held at Adlux Convention Center in Kochi under the title of 70th Filmfare Awards South with Kerala Tourism. Awards were given to the best talented movie stars from Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada movies.
