After many days of waiting, Maruti Suzuki has launched its first electric SUV. Launched Evitara. Its starting price is Rs. 10.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is Rs. 21000 and can be booked at Nexa showrooms or through the official website.
First seen at the Auto Expo in January 2025, the car entered the mid-size electric SUV segment a year later. Buyers of this car get eight-year warranty on both vehicle & battery pack, along with one-year free charging.. Rs. 50,000 worth of installation can also get a free home charger.
Maruti Suzuki Evitara is available with 49 kW (440 km), 61 kW (543 km) battery options. It uses a compact 3-in-1 system that integrates the electric motor, inverter and transmission. So it provides good performance. It gets four driving modes like Eco, Normal, Sport and Snow. It also has a regenerative braking system. This allows for slightly more range.
The well-designed car gets a 10.1-inch infotainment display & 10.25-inch multi-information digital instrument cluster. It includes wireless connectivity, ventilated front seats, segment-leading 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat. So it is suitable for all vehicle users.
