The government has given shocking news to the employees working in Oman. It has been announced that strict action will be taken if the work certificates, license and other documents are not correct from the new year. To this extent, the Department of Labor has issued a statement.

In order to renew the visa in Oman, professional classification certificates and licenses in the fields related to the entry of new employees have to be obtained from the authorities of the relevant departments. However, it has been said that the documents should be issued only after the relevant authorities have confirmed all the correct information at the time of obtaining it. If fake documents are issued, the Ministry of Labor has announced that strict action will be taken against the employees as well as the agents.

The total number of foreign workers in Oman is about 18 lakhs and more than 5 lakhs are working there from India. Reports there state that the number of Indians working in Oman has been decreasing for some time now.
