Russia will build a power plant on the Moon

It is known that many key countries are undertaking projects as part of exploration on the Moon. Russia is preparing to take another step forward in this process. Plans are being made to build a power station on Jabilli in the next ten years. It has been revealed that this project will be undertaken with the aim of supplying electricity to the joint research center of Russia and China in addition to the lunar program that they are undertaking.

Rascosmus, the Russian government-run space research organization, has revealed that it is planning to establish a power plant on the moon by 2036. For this, the aerospace company said that it has entered into an agreement with Lavochkin. The aim of the project is to provide power for rovers, an observatory, a joint Russian-Chinese research center as well as their own lunar program. However, despite the news that it is a nuclear power plant, there is a need to get clarification from the Russian organization.

Russia, which is the leader in space research, sent its astronaut Yuri Gagarin into space in 1961. But, it seems that America and China have been lagging behind for a few decades. Recently (in August 2023) Russia's ambitious Luna-25 crashed before landing on Zabili. On the other hand, it is known that Elon Musk, who is advancing in space experiments, is also giving fierce competition.
