Cold tiger is scaring Telugu states. People are suffering from bone-chilling cold. Viral diseases are taking their toll on you. People are suffering from cold, cough and fever. The situation is getting worse at night. Temperatures are dropping to a low of 3 degrees Celsius. Hyderabad Meteorological Department has said that the severity of cold is likely to increase in the coming days. It revealed that the lowest temperatures will be recorded for the next two or three days. A yellow alert has been issued for Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Manchiryala, Nirmal, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Janagam,
Siddhipet, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts of Telangana. It said that till 26th of this month, minimum temperatures between 5 to 10 degrees Celsius will be recorded in many districts. Hyderabad has been recording single digit temperatures since last few days. Temperatures are recorded between 8 to 13 degrees Celsius. 8.4 degrees Celsius in Patan Cheru, 9.5 in Rajendra Nagar, 11.6 in Hayat Nagar and 12.7 degrees Celsius in Begumpet. If it starts from 5 o'clock in the evening.. the cold does not subside even till 10 o'clock in the morning of the next day. Most importantly, lowest temperatures are recorded in agency areas. Araku, Paderu and Chintapalli recorded temperatures below 5 degrees. It is snowing heavily in the morning. Due to this, motorists are facing serious problems. In view of extreme cold, doctors suggest that children, elderly people and people with respiratory problems should take special precautions. Meteorological Department officials have predicted that the cold weather will last till the end of December.
