Christmas Eve.. the capital of Bangladesh Violence broke out again in Dhaka. A powerful crude bomb exploded near the Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Central Command at the local Moghbazar intersection on Wednesday. A person died in this incident and there was tension. 

According to the Dhaka Police, unidentified persons hurled the bomb from the Moghbazar flyover around 7:10 pm. A young man died on the spot in this incident. Security forces have been deployed to prevent tensions. Local officials said that the investigation into the incident is ongoing. 

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader Tariq Rahman, who has been in exile for a long time, is about to arrive in Dhaka. However, the interim government led by Yunus has expressed concern that peace and security problems may arise in the wake of his arrival. It is noteworthy that this incident took place before his visit. 

Bangladesh is due to hold elections next year. However, on December 12, Sharif Usman Hadi, a radical leader, was shot dead by unknown persons. After this incident, protests and violence increased in Bangladesh. In Myamansingh district, a Hindu youth named Deepu Chandradas was lynched for allegedly making hate speech. The incident led to protests by the minority communities and further damaged the relations of the Yunus government with India. Meanwhile, on December 22 another young leader named Motaleb Shikder was shot at. Analysts believe that political tensions may increase in the background of the latest situation (Dhaka Bomb Attack).
