సాక్షి, బిజినెస్డెస్క్:కరెన్సీ కదలికలు, క్రిస్మస్..న్యూ ఇయర్ సీజన్ వ్యయాలు విహారయాత్రల నిర్ణయాలను ప్రభావితం చేస్తున్నాయి. చాలా మంది పర్యాటకులు సుదీర్ఘ యాత్రల కన్నా అయిదు రోజుల్లో చుట్టేసొచ్చేలా టూర్లను ప్లాన్ చేసుకుంటున్నారు. అందులోనూ వీసా సులభంగా దొరికే దేశాలను ఎంచుకుంటున్నారు. ట్రావెల్ సర్విసుల కంపెనీ కాక్స్ అండ్ కింగ్స్కి నివేదికలో ఈ విషయాలు వెల్లడయ్యాయి. దీని ప్రకారం గత శీతాకాలంతో పోలిస్తే ఈసారి అంతర్జాతీయ ప్రయాణాలకి కేవలం 15–20 రోజులు ముందుగా బుక్ చేసుకునే ధోరణి 30 శాతం పెరిగింది.
65 శాతం బుకింగ్స్ అయిదు రోజుల్లోపు ట్రిప్లకే పరిమితమైంది. ఈసారి భారతీయ ప్రయాణికులు బయల్దేరడానికి కాస్త ముందుగా మాత్రమే బుక్ చేసుకుంటున్నారని, క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో ఖర్చులు అంచనాలకు అనుగుణంగా ఉండే ప్రాంతాలను ఎంచుకుంటున్నారని, సుదీర్ఘ ప్రయాణాలను...డాలర్ మారకంతో ముడిపడి ఉండే ప్రయాణ ఖర్చులను తగ్గించుకుంటున్నారని నివేదిక పేర్కొంది. అలాగని ప్రయాణాలకు డిమాండేమీ తగ్గిపోలేదని తెలిపింది. ఈసారి క్రిస్మస్, న్యూ ఇయర్ వేడుకల సందర్భంగా పర్యాటకులు తమ సౌకర్యానికి, ఖర్చు చేసే ప్రతి రూపాయికి లభించే ప్రయోజనాలకి ఎక్కువగా ప్రాధాన్యమిస్తున్నారని వివరించింది.

⇒ ఆఖరు నిమిషంలో బుక్ చేసుకుంటున్న వారిలో 45 శాతం మంది పిల్లలు, వృద్ధులతో కలిసి ప్రయాణిస్తున్న కుటుంబాలకు చెందినవారే ఉంటున్నారు. వారు భద్రత, వైద్య సదుపాయాలు మెరుగ్గా ఉండే దుబాయ్లాంటి డెస్టినేషన్లను ఎంచుకుంటున్నారు. ఇక తొలిసారిగా విదేశీ పర్యటన చేస్తున్న వారికి, మిలీనియల్స్కి, జెనరేషన్ జెడ్కి, యువ జంటలకి, బ్యాక్ప్యాకర్స్, యువ ప్రొఫెషనల్స్, మిత్ర బృందాలకి వియత్నాం ఫేవరెట్గా ఉంటోంది. సాధారణంగా ఇది పీక్ సీజన్ కావడంతో పాటు కొన్ని ప్రదేశాలకు టికెట్ల కొరత ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఈ–వీసా ప్రక్రియపై స్పష్టత, ఎయిర్ కనెక్టివిటీ మెరుగ్గా ఉండటంలాంటి అంశాలు ఆ దేశానికి సానుకూలంగా ఉంటున్నాయి.

According to this, compared to last winter, the tendency to book international travel just 15-20 days in advance has increased by 30 percent.
