Mechanism steps towards purification

Government is working on new experiments in revenue. Although the district administration is solving various problems, people are not getting proper satisfaction. With this, the state government is preparing the ground for a better governance department. As many problems related to various lands are pending with the district administration, the government is taking measures towards radical changes in this policy.

In the recently held collector's conference in Amaravati, CM Chandrababu said that the performance of the revenue department is good while saying that best practices are still to be done. In Eluru district, the satisfaction level of people in solving revenue problems is 64 percent. It is said that Jio will be released soon by making more reforms in revenue across the state. The government has realized that the issue of clearance of files related to some critical items is not being solved due to the collector being logged in. There are difficulties in land acquisition and distribution of damages for various projects. This is not happening where the Joint Collector as the Settlement Officer has to take key decisions regarding most of the revenue matters. Problems are also arising at the field level. It is said that there is a possibility of transferring some powers from the Collector and Joint Collectors to the lower level in order to solve the problems at the lower level.

Recently, in the case of land dispute appeals, the powers of RRO Act (Record of Rights) have been transferred from DRV to RDO. While this policy was implemented in the YCP government, the coalition government made a change just a few months ago. Until now, the changes in Adam Gal and correction of other mistakes were monitored by Tehsildars at the lower level and kept in the joint collector's login, they checked them and made the same changes. Due to the delay due to this policy, there is a possibility that the JCs will be entrusted with the responsibility of correcting the errors and mistakes.

22 What is the responsibility of the RDOs? In order to solve the problems of these lands, the committee consists of Chairman Collector, JC, DRO, AD Survey, RDO and Tehsildars. Realizing that this is causing delay, the government is planning to transfer powers to show solutions on 22A lands at the level of RDOs.
