Amaravati, December 22 (Andhra Jyoti):Another important development has taken place in the TTD Fake Ghee Scam Case. Former YCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy was interrogated by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) under CBI today (Monday) in this case. Chevireddy, who is on remand in the Vijayawada district jail, was interrogated from 11 am to noon.

It is known that Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy was a member of the TTD board at the time of the adulterated ghee scandal. In this context, the CBI officials approached the court to give permission to interrogate him. After the permission of the court, the investigation was conducted on Monday.

In this investigation, the CBI officials asked many questions about the matter of changing the contract of ghee at that time, the reasons behind that decision and the discussions held with the relevant persons. It is reported that vital information regarding this matter has been collected from Chevi Reddy.

Chevi Reddy Bhaskar Reddy, who has already been arrested in the liquor scam case, is on remand in the Vijayawada District Jail. It is in this background that the investigation against him in a series of cases has become politically important. Investigative sources feel that there is a possibility of more important developments in adulterated ghee case.
