Many Indian H-1B visa holders awaiting renewal of stamping are currently in trouble. US consular offices here have suddenly rescheduled their visa stamping appointments. This resulted in a situation where they could not go back to their jobs.
These visa reschedules seem to have mainly affected the slots between December 15th and 26th. Although it is thought that the Christmas holiday season may be a reason for this, at the same time, the suspicions that these changes were made due to the strict implementation of social media screening by the Department of State are raising concerns among visa holders.
And the number of those affected by this development seems to be increasing day by day. Especially H-1B employees working in IT, healthcare and finance sectors are facing this problem. On the other hand, companies in America where employees work are also worried about the risk of missing project deadlines due to the absence of employees.
