Hyderabad, December 21 (Andhra Jyoti):Telangana Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy gave a strong counter to BRS chief KCR. He accused KCR of ruining irrigation. He spoke to the media today (Sunday) at the Telangana secretariat. He said that KCR's comments on irrigation are 90 percent false. Kaleswaram is said to be the heart of Telangana.. It has collapsed.

Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy said that it is ironic that KCR is talking about irrigation by building collapsed projects. It is alleged that the estimate of Kaleswaram project was increased for commissions. He made it clear that Sitarama project is being constructed with Rs.18 thousand crores. He deplored why KCR did not complete the Devada project despite being in power for ten years. Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy expressed his anger that the project was not completed even after borrowing lakhs of crores of rupees.

Why did KCR not complete the pending projects before the formation of Telangana state? He asked. People are asking why the SLBC and Dindi projects have not been completed.. KCR challenged him to answer immediately. He clarified that not even a single acre was given water through the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project during the BRS regime. It was concluded that permission was given for this project during the Congress regime. Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy said that it is not appropriate for KCR, who has been the CM for ten years, to tell lies. It was explained that Rs.7 thousand crores have been spent on the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project. He said that less than 90 TMC is not being asked for this project. He expressed his grief that the Pranahita-Chevella project was canceled and injustice was done to the state. Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy declared that the irrigation system was destroyed due to KCR's mistakes.
