Management capabilities of stock exchanges, Sebi Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said that there is a plan to set up a working group to examine new technologies that can be used to improve the protection of investors' interests and market supervision. He said that this committee will focus on how exchange technology should be transformed in the next 5-10 years, meet international best standards, create new policies to strengthen market infrastructure, etc. Pandey explained these things while participating in the 11th International Conference of Commodity and Capital Participants Association. He mentioned that being technologically sound is very important and SEBI takes every technical glitch in the exchanges very seriously. Pandey said that a working group is also being considered to review non-agri commodity derivatives. He said that it will be notified soon.
