Temperatures dropped drastically across the country. Cold weather scares people. The lowest temperature of 3.5 degrees Celsius is also recorded in two Telugu states. And, the situation is worse in North India. Many places are recording minus degree Celsius temperatures. Due to air pollution in the national capital, Delhi, smog is rampant. Until 8 o'clock in the morning, the smoke and snow were so thick that people could not see each other. The Taj Mahal in Agra is completely invisible in the smoke.


Sleep in Kashmir Valley..

For the first time since the onset of winter, it has snowed in Kashmir Valley. It gave relief to the people who were suffering from bone-chilling dry weather. Gurej Valley, Warwan Valley, Sintap Top, Rajban Pass, Sadhana Top, Zojila, Sonmarg received snowfall. Apart from these, many parts of Dras and Kargil regions also received snowfall. The people of Kashmir have been going through hell with extremely dry weather for the past two months. All water sources are frozen. At such a time people are waiting with a thousand eyes for rain.


They were lucky and it rained snow. As a result, the climate has changed. The dry weather condition has greatly reduced. The Indian Meteorological Department has said that moderate to heavy rains are likely to occur in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir today (Sunday). It also said that the effect of rain is likely to increase in the next two days. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah held a review meeting on the winter conditions on Saturday. Instructions have been issued to the authorities to take precautionary measures.
