Narayankhed: MLA Sanjiva Reddy said that the Congress supporters won in large numbers in the panchayat elections and Narayankhed constituency is second in the state. He was speaking at a press conference at his camp office on Friday. While 167 supporters of Congress won, BRS claimed 52 and others won four seats. He said that BRS got all the seats due to contesting as a rebel from Congress in many places. He expressed hope that similar results will be repeated in the upcoming regional elections as well. The Sarpanchs who won on behalf of Congress, BRS and BJP said that they will coordinate all and contribute to development. He said that everyone will be included regardless of politics and will work for the development of the constituency. The new sarpanches are advised to provide minimum facilities in the villages and work as per the aspirations of the people.

Nallavagu water release soon

The MLA said that the water of the Nallavagu project will be released soon by holding a meeting with the collector and irrigation officials. According to Thaibandi, steps will be taken to release water to dry crops in two or three days. Former CDC Chairman Narsimha Reddy, former Municipal Vice Chairman Shankar, leaders Taher, Pandari Reddy, Prabhakar Reddy and Rajuset participated in the meeting.
