Flaws revealed in the inspection

After the establishment of the district center, the number of vehicles has increased along with the population. According to the increasing number of vehicles, petrol stations have also appeared. There are around 100 petrol and diesel stations in the district. Owners of petrol stations who are getting income from motorists are neglecting to provide minimum facilities. Every petrol station must have a first aid box, drinking water available to motorists, toilets, free air, fuel gauges, price display, safety standards, phone numbers of civil, fire and police officials should be prominently displayed. Also every bunk must have facility to make online payment. Recently, when the District Civil Supplies Officer Nityanandam conducted a surprise inspection at a petrol station in the district center, many irregularities came to light. Differences in fuel measurements, suspicious results in filter paper test, drinking water, toilets, first aid box and free air for tires were revealed. If all these are found out if checks are done at a bank in the district center, the motorists are complaining about how many problems there are in the banks far away from the district.
