Pade Ru, December 20 (Andhra Jyothi): 1 lakh 29 thousand 959 in the pulse polio program which will be held in the district for three days from Sunday. District Collector AS. Dinesh Kumar said that polio drops are being administered to many children. He spoke at a rally organized on Saturday to create awareness among people about Pulse Polio program. They want to make the Pulse Polio program organized on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays a complete success in the district. Polio drops should be administered to every child under the age of five years. He said that in 22 mandals of the district, 64 PHCs are giving drops. On 22nd and 23rd, the medical personnel will go door to door and administer polio drops for the children who did not receive polio drops on Sunday. For this, 2,506 polio centers are being established, 10,024 vaccinators and 233 supervisors have been appointed. Also, 37 transit points and 74 mobile teams are being made available. Later, officials, public representatives, doctors and staff organized a massacre at the local Ambedkar Koodali. Arakuloya MP Dr. G. Tanujarani, former MLA Giddi Ishwari, former MPP Borra Vijayarani, DMHO Dr. D. Krishnamurtinaik, ADMHO Dr. T. Pratap and others participated in the program.
