- Video conference with Collector and officials

Manchiryala Collectorate, December 20 (Andhra Jyoti): State Road Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has advised the officials to make the road safety month a success. A meeting was held on Saturday with the collector, police and officials through video conference from Hyderabad. On this occasion, the minister said that the road safety month should be organized with full force. In January, it is suggested to organize special programs on road rules, precautions to be taken to prevent accidents, etc. Programs should be organized under the auspices of RTC, Transport, Education, Police Departments and District Road Safety Committees. He said that families are being torn apart due to road accidents, and he directed to educate people about road safety rules and take measures to prevent traffic violations. The students were advised to organize triad competitions, cultural programs, essay and quiz competitions on traffic rules, road safety. On this occasion, Collector Kumar Deepak said that for the safety of the road, under the auspices of the Road Safety Committee, a meeting is held every month and efforts are being made to prevent accidents. It has been mentioned that they have identified the danger areas in the district and are setting up signposts and speed bumps. The collector said that special drunken drive checks will be conducted on December 31 in view of the New Year celebrations. The concerned officials participated in the program.
