Anyone who buys a motorcycle or a car is interested in buying vehicles that give high mileage. But after a few days the mileage of those vehicles may show some decrease. What could be the reason for this? Many people think that.. and hold their heads. Why does wagon mileage decrease? What to do.. Mileage increases in this article..
Reasons for vehicle mileage to decrease
Newly bought car or motorcycle gives good mileage. But after a few days the mileage gradually decreases. The reason for this seems to be low tire pressure, blocked air filter, damaged spark plug, engine oil, lack of timely servicing, etc.
Other than that.. Sudden acceleration of the vehicle, braking, improper gear shifting, pressing the clutch too much, heavy stopping and restarting in traffic, putting too much weight on the vehicle, poor quality petrol / diesel, lack of proper roads etc. Mileage.. May decrease.
For fuel saving
- During riding..do not increase speed at once..accelerate softly.
- Riding at high RPM consumes more fuel. So proper gear should be used.
- Do not increase speed unnecessarily. Carriage should be driven at a constant speed.
- If at a stop for a long time (at a signal) switch off the engine. Doing this will save some fuel.
- If the tire pressure is low.. the mileage will also decrease. It is good to check the tire pressure.
- Make sure the air filter and spark plug are clean. Service should be done from time to time.
- Do not load unnecessarily. Do not press the clutch for long.
