Australia-England are facing each other in the third Test of the Ashes series. At the end of the third day's play, the Aussies scored 271/4. Head (142) stood with an unbeaten century. With this, the Aussies are showing a huge lead of 356 runs against England.

Internet Desk: Australia-England are facing each other in the third Test of the Ashes series in Adelaide. At the end of the third day's play, the Aussies scored 271 runs after losing four wickets in 66 overs. With the first innings, the Aussies show a huge lead of 356 runs over England. Aussie opener Travis Head (142*) made a brilliant century and remained unbeaten. At the other end, Alex Carey (52*) is playing a super knock with a half century. At the end of the third day's play, both of them put on an unbeaten fifth wicket partnership of 122 runs.


England started the third day with an overnight score of 213/8 and were bowled out for 286 runs. Benstokes (83) and Jofra Archer (51) scored half-centuries. Aussie bowlers Pat Cummins, Scott Boland three each, Nathan Lyon 2, Cameron Green, Mitchell Starc each took a wicket.


Australian batsmen Jake Weatherlad (1), Labuchane (13), Cameron Green (7) failed to bat. Usman Khawaja (40; 51 balls, 4 fours) excelled. Green, who was ducked in the first innings, was limited to a low score in the second innings as well. Among the England bowlers, Josh Tongue, Brider Carrs and Will Jacks took 2 wickets each. Read:
